Seeing that 888chan is down. I'm pleased to see Project Skynet has an HQ again.

Operation Didgeridie has received some lulz and much needed attention. The leak of blacklisted sites gathered has been put to an unfortunate halt. Partyvan.info has not been able to produce enough attention to our cause enough like Insurgen.info has.

Our lazers were aimed, and though we were mildly successful to get their attention. Our demands were not met.

There was a lot of media attention right afterwards, as http://insurgen.info/wiki/Operation_Didgeridie would show, much effort was done by our insurgents to get the word out.

Much hard work was put into defending our Internet, and with the halt of our Chan, TheInternetHateMachine has forced us to a halt. Every Chan visited to try and discuss future operations were put raided by coservatrolls, rrr, "newfags calling us moralfags." who has failed see our very ultimate mission, the defense of our home, and for lulz.

Hopefully, we can continue.

Soon, we will gather here by hundreds again, and for now, your openness to our Project, is very much appreciated.

It's time, insurgents from TheInternetHateMachine. With a mouse and keyboard, we will rule the Net once more.

So, no one ever posts here, right?

I find it interesting that there is this desperate undercurrent for an alternative way of life, but no body can come together long enough to pull their fingers out and get started.

true enough, but out of all of those places that have tried...where are they now? I think sov is possible here, but only if there are the people for it

Oh they all failed, but that's no reason not to have a board. It wasn't /net that stopped ACTA, or /xenu that destroyed Scientology, or /i that did anything of any use. If you're considering 'will this actually accomplish anything' when thinking about starting an imageboard you're doing it wrong.

I'm just thinking that if a /sov board hung around long enough it'd get traffic enough to warrant its existence.

I think i have to agree with you on ACTA.
People just won't accept censorship anymore. The first time someone is stopped at a border on suspiscion of possesion of stolen mp3's a shitstorm will break loose. You see the world of today (well the EU) has most of its civil liberty's straightend out. Capitalism is still sort of functioning, and Viktor Orban is the last dictator in Europe.
This is exactly why anonymous doesn't have so much causes to fight for anymore. Nowadays politicians actually (try to) take care of problems. Thats why the integration of the web in everyday life of the normal citizen isn't the disaster anon was secretly hoping for.
If we really want to have sweet operations with 500+ people again (estimate on chanology maybe) we need to do it for the lulz. Lulz and lulz only.

This is our first and only message in regards to this issue, please disregard all others.

It has come to our attention that the NYPD and united states naval intelligence have been herding criminal suspects that cannot be charged, into psychiatric wards so as to bypass due process.

As result of the harassment they have suffered, these individual are sadly passed off as schizophrenic and are doped up accordingly with medication they do not require.

They are turning otherwise healthy people into zombies.

I believe there is much truth in the Zeitgeist films, however, the government has so much control over the way we think that people accept everything to be the way it's supposed to be. People nowadays are just mindless drones with no mind of their own. Everything they believe is shown to them through the media, and they accept it as truth. So I think that although it's possible that it could work, it's near impossible to find enough people to make it happen.

Greetings,

I wrote a piece a few years ago on various methods of electronic communication either avoiding using infrastructure, using obscure technology from the past such as CB and bulletin boards or hiding it using tor and so on. I need to rewrite it at some point in the future to add more stuff. The current version of it is located here: http://its.goofyti.me/u/http://me-tan.wtfux.org/text/bootstrap.rtf

I had an idea on the way to work yesterday. We all know about some idiot artist in New York who thought it would be a good idea to put USB plugs in the wall/kerb and so on to act as a dead drop or a dead letterbox. Its a nice idea but he was inferencing plugging a laptop in to a wall which is fucking stupid and also it is very easy to stakeout the damn thing and see who visits it.

Why not use wireless? Get any wireless access point from a boot sale or whatever, attach the components of a PC with a small hard drive or a SD card, sealed in a waterproof box and attached to any power source (your home if you are planning to only host legit stuff on it, or from street lights, phone boxes, etc...

The PC will have shares st up on it so that guests accessing the wireless access point can see a selection of download directories with appropriate names as read only, plus a read/write share called uploads where people can put their stuff and whoever runs the machine can screen incoming files for crapola. I also suggest setting the access point name as something like DeadLetterBox followed by the tail end of the mac address of the AP to keep them fairly individual and allow people to wardrive to map where they are, or set up scripts so their laptop just downloads everything when it sees one as they drive/walk around.

The result being a network of machines where it will be hard to trace who has been downloading files from it, who owns it (if set up in a clandestine manner) that requires only cheap hardware. If people wanted to know what the userbase of any one node is they would have to stake out the entire area surrounding it for ages plus they couldn't automatically just

Putting the node on a drone will complicate things. If you actually want to do it, applying KISS principles is a good idea.

Look at Pirate Radio for an example. In London people break in to the rooves of tall tower blocks, put the transmitter in an air vent half way down using old car jacks and then use the parts from old sattelite dishes to get a downlink from their broadcasting studio located in another tower block. They do this so they don't get caught as OFCOM, the UK equivalent of the FCC, are fucking nazis. Getting an old laptop with a smashed screen off ebay, an old router or access point, sealing them in a box and installing it like a pirate radio transmitter is a hell of a lot cheaper and easier than building a drone, hell, you could probably just put some official looking stickers on the box, wear a high vis jacket and fake ID, hire a white van and screw it to the lamp post outside the local police station and people would be none the wiser about it for years apart from the node's userbase.

Quit neckbearding and start hacking.

heh looks like someone had the same idea. I fucking love the internet for this shit: why we have to preserve it.

Enjoyed the phile and ideas ME-tan, saved it for when I have some spare time. That wireless idea is brilliant, even more important after the latest news about the EU firewall.

If you're rewriting you might want to include the idea of the blackthrow put forward by the guys at telecomix. Cryptoanarchy seems to be down atm.

if all attempts fail to get the government to end their censorship plans, our best recourse would be to block rail routes throughout the country, this would cause a large reduction in the amount of mineral exports, and enough of a dent in the economy to be a serious problem if sustained for a few weeks or more (a few hundred people could bring the country to its knees with picket signs in the right places and some cause to demand change for, so the government can bargain their way out of it in exchange for returning freedoms

taking apart the transport grid will affect the system, the recent floods and cyclones have cut rail lines and massive losses have been incurred, since the government has the option to easily end it, large mining companies will pressure the government to submit to protester demands

or maybe im just trolling...
>> No. 162
If you picket a railway the cops will just pull you off. I hate to say this, but too many people in Australia are apathetic. They don't care enough for a free Internet. Derailing trains, however, might make them wake up.

I don't see how the media will be able to connect mining protests with a free Internet. We'll be criticised for trying to hurt Australian industries.

The right wing press generally allows comments on their articles. Let's fill their articles with no-censorship comments. Also try to encourage people to use Tor, freenet or i2p.
